The Lighthouse Church, Forres was officially founded on the  22^nd October 2000 after several years of careful planning and development.   This originated with the involvement of American missionaries, Scott McIntosh and John Moore with some local Christians.  All along it was the conviction that God was seeking to establish a new church in the Forres area.

Although Scott and John have moved on to other projects the church has established itself with the addition of an ordained Minister trained by the Baptist Union of Great Britain.  However, this church is not just new in the sense of time but also in the style and type of church it is.
