CERTAIN LIGHT IN AN UNCERTAIN WORLD
A
lighthouse exists for one reason alone - to provide a means of
navigating safely through dangerous waters. Whether standing tall by day
or piercing the black of night with it’s powerful beams, a lighthouse
provides those at sea with a certain means to avoid disaster. Likewise,
through a faithful Christian witness The Lighthouse Church, Forres seeks
to provide sure navigation through the dangerous waters of life - to
provide a certain light in an uncertain world.
When Jesus spoke again to the
people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me
will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
(John 8:12)
And
in
many ways life is like a voyage, often into the unknown of the
future. How can we negotiate the tides, currents and winds of
life?
We
believe the Christian faith provides answers and sure navigation
