The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need of rescue through Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian and the Church (local and global) with all the gifts and power necessary for living out the new life and so accomplishing the purpose and mission of the Church. The Christian believer and community seek to live under His influence daily.
